The origin story
EVERY BUSINESS IS BUILT TO SOLVE A PROBLEM, SO WE WALKED AROUND THE HOUSE IN SEARCH FOR ONE.
That's when we saw Pax's ugly dog bowl on the kitchen floor.
Bright orange plastic. Logo-heavy. An absolute eyesore in a space we'd spent months making look intentional.
We looked at each other: "We could make this way cooler."
There wasn't a design-forward slow feeder that didn't look like a toy. Everything was cheap plastic or unreasonably expensive with no functionality. The gap was obvious.
Between our backgrounds in branding and logistics, we figured we had what it took to fill it. So we made Jumble. Premium dog bowls that work with your space, not against it.
Why we're sharing the journey
Jumble is a live case study. We're documenting how to develop a product, work with manufacturers, build a brand, market it, and add those personal touches that make it more than just another Amazon listing.
Why share all this? We don't believe in gatekeeping. If you're curious about making something but don't know where to start, follow along. Learn from our mistakes. See what works and what doesn't.
The biggest lesson so far? It takes way longer than expected, and if you're doing it right, that's okay. This isn't about getting rich quick—it's about building something meaningful. Balance over hustle. Quality over speed.
